Mexican Jewelry became fashionable in American in the 1940's. Hundreds of smaller workshops opened  & Silver Jewelry with Spanish/Indian design became fashionable in American. Prominent Mexican designers were the Castillo brothers, Antonio Pineda, Hector Aguilar & Salvador Teran. Taxco was one of the larger designer.
