HOBE’ DESIGNERS JEWELRY
VINTAGE
Hobe began
in 1883 and still in business today. It has been thru four generations and
the founder was a Parisian master craftsman. He introduced the newest
methods of mass production. The company is out of New York, specializing
in sterling or gold washed sterling set with semi-precious stones in both
antique reproduction and new designs. Hobe has tremendous standards of
excellence and offer quality affordable pieces of jewelry. Glamorous
stars like Carole Lombard, Bette Davis, Barbara Stanwack, Mae West and Mary
Martin were among the stars who wore Hole’ on stage and off. In the
1930’s Hobe’ made complete jewelry wardrobes for director Cecil B. De Mille.
